Small business owner and founding member of the Peachtree Corners City Council, Jay Lowe announced his campaign for State House in District 95. The Primary Election will be held May 24, 2016 for an open seat vacated by retiring State Representative Tom Rice.

PEACHTREE CORNERS, GA (March 04, 2016) Local small business owner, Jay Lowe announced his campaign to run for the Georgia State House District 95.  Lowe is a Christian Conservative Republican who is tired of professional politicians who make big promises but deliver no results while putting us further in debt. “Everyday citizens are rising up to take back our government from the professional politicians,” Lowe stated.

Lowe stated, “As an entrepreneur, I fully understand the red tape small business owners face. Small businesses provide more American jobs than large corporations yet do not have the same resources and special interest lobbyists to fight on their behalf.”  He went on, “I want to be the State Representative that fights for local small business owners and everyday residents of our community.”

Jay Lowe is Managing Partner of United Signs, an Architectural Sign Company with operations in both Norcross & Peachtree Corners. He also owns and operates several other small businesses located in Peachtree Corners. A resident of Peachtree Corners since 1998, Lowe and his wife, Jill, have four young daughters and have lived in the same house in Peachtree Station since 2000. He serves on the Simpsonwood Park Master Planning Committee, sits on the executive board for the Rotary Career Exploration Night, and coaches his daughters’ softball team. He was formerly the President of the Peachtree Station Homeowners Association. He is a former elite swimmer, triathlete, and competitive cyclist. The Lowe’s are active members at Simpson United Methodist Church.
